Just a few minutes walk away are the well-known Andrassy Avenues and Vaci utca, the main pedestrian shopping streets of Budapest and the Central Market Hall. Another couple of minutes walk from either of these will bring you to the banks of the River Danube, with its magnificent views of the Budapest Castle, Citadel and bridges.
For access to parts of Budapest outside of the immediate area, public transport by bus, tram or via the metro is just a 2-3 minute walk from the apartment at Déak Square, which is the main intersection for the whole of the Budapest metro system. A bus service to the Castle Area on the Buda side of the Danube runs from Déak Square.
