Opened in 2005, recently refurbished, and located in Rákóczi Street in the vibrant Astoria area, Budapest Astoria Apartments are located in one of the main downtown areas in Budapest, with excellent public transport in the direct area including metro stations and tram/bus stops.
Budapest Astoria Apartments comprise two separate 2-room apartments;
a standard apartment, measuring 50 sqm and a large apartment (with either 1 or 2 bedrooms, depending on requirements/number of guests), measuring 70 sqm.
These Budapest holiday lettings are located on the top floor of a two-storey building and are bright and extremely quiet.
The standard apartment consists of a bedroom, living-room, kitchen and bathroom and is suitable for 1-2 persons. There is the possibility for a third person to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.
The large apartment consists of a living-room, kitchen with dining area, bathroom and a bedroom, suitable for 1-2 people and an extra bed can be placed in the room for a 3rd. person. When 3-5 persons rent the large apartment, a second bedroom is made available.
There is an extra charge of 10 Euros per night for the 3rd person in the standard or large apartment and for the 5th. person in the large apartment.
Each apartment is equipped as follows:

In Budapest, location is everything.........
Budapest Astoria Apartments are located in the city center of Budapest and within a short walk of the main tourist sights. Astoria metro station is just 3-4 minutes walk from the apartment, and for access to parts of Budapest outside of the immediate area, there are numerous bus and tram stops serving all parts of the city. Deak ter metro station, the junction of the complete Budapest metro system, is just 7-8 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
In fact, everything that a visitor to Budapest could wish for is within a few minutes walk of the apartment, including: supermarkets, post office, currency exchange offices, ATMs, numerous fast-food and other restaurants.
The direct area of the apartments is full with restaurants, clubs, pubs and the vibrant Raday utca with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and outside terraces is within 7-10 minutes walk.
Museum Boulevard (Muzeum körút), which houses the Hungarian National Museum, is just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, and is a wide, leafy avenue, full of all types stores and well known for a wide variety of interesting bookstores specializing in old books, maps and historical documents.
The Budapest Great Synagogue, the largest in Central and Eastern Europe is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment at the start of the area that was the Jewish Ghetto during the Second World War.
Just a few hundred meters away are the well-known Vaci utca, the main pedestrian shopping street of Budapest and the Central Market Hall.
Another couple of minutes walk from either of these will bring you to the banks of the River Danube, with its magnificent views of the Budapest Castle, Citadel and bridges.
